Emanuel School was founded by Lady Dacre in 1594 towards the bringinge up of twentie poore children in virtue and good and laudable arts whereby they might the better live in tyme to come by theyre honeste labor’ Many generations of pupils have benefited from an education at Emanuel and the charitable aims of the school continue to be at the heart of our community.

This year, through the Annual Fund we have raised funds for laser equipment in DT, improvements to the fives courts, theatre air conditioning and chapel choir stalls refurbishment, We are still accepting donations for two new school prizes in memory of former teachers: 'Frank' Grundy, inspirational maths teacher for an endowed Mathematics Prize, and Geoffrey Dancer, gifted musican for a Music Prize.

The Emanuel School Annual Fund receives its donations via the the United Westminster Schools (charity no 309267).

In the present economic climate the school is curbing the school fees increase to the necessities but  if we are to sustain our development programme for the benefit of pupils over the longer term, we have to seek funding from sources other than the school fee which is the reason we are launching an Annual Fund.

Rest assured that your contribution, however small, will make a difference and all contributions will be acknowledged and recorded in the benefactors book (unless you tell us otherwise).

Thank you for your support of Emanuel School
