Working hours as a Facilities Operative on Monday and Friday will be 6.00am – 5.45pm. A 12-hour weekend shift may be required depending upon facilities bookings in the evening. Working hours will be flexible outside of term time, working from Monday to Friday.

Emanuel School is seeking an experienced Administrator to play a key role overseeing administrative work in our large and thriving sports department.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an ambitious sports department where you will be instrumental in building the profile of sport at Emanuel School and in South West London.
You will provide administrative support with a focus on supporting all aspects of the school’s sports facilities. This will include updating the sports website, ensuring all forthcoming fixtures are listed, as well as acting as the first point of contact, responding to pupils, parents, and staff regarding sports issues. You will also order and maintain sports equipment, supplies and first aid kits, replacing used stock and ordering supplies when necessary.
The role also includes the organisation of events, including the sports awards evening, as well as regular communication with all areas of the school and wider community.
This is a fixed term post for six months for the purpose of covering a maternity leave. Predicted dates are May 2024 – October 2024.
About you
You will need previous experience of delivering an efficient and organised administrative support service within an educational or sporting environment. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and database software is equally important.
You will be highly efficient and driven to work in a fast-paced environment. You should have a keen eye for detail to ensure the smooth running of a busy programme.
You will also need to be able to update website content.
An interest in sport is desirable. If you are a driven and highly organised individual who is happy to contribute to all areas of the school, we will be delighted to hear from you.

Key responsibilities will include conducting initial assessments of pupils’ needs, managing ongoing assessment processes, overseeing exam access arrangements, providing whole-school training on SEND, and supporting pupils’ transition processes into HE/FE. Additionally, the successful candidate will lead a departmental team and oversee recruitment, development, and performance management, to ensure the efficient delivery of support services.
The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status, along with relevant certifications such as the OCR L7 Diploma in Teaching and Assessing Learners with Dyslexia/SLD.
