3D animation

As part of Arts and Science week, Year 9 pupils had the fantastic opportunity to try out 3D animation.

They were very fortunate to have the help of Aidan and Lucy, Animation students from Escape Studios, one of the leading colleges for VFX/ 3D Animation. The pupils had fun making their own personalised animated 3D flags using Maya, which is industry-standard software. We are very pleased that the pupils have had a taster of this growing industry and this will develop further with a regular animation club that media coordinator Mr Skinner will be running from September.
