Senior Tech Club has been meeting on Zoom every Monday lunchtime.
We have been working on lighting design skills, starting with a session working through the school equipment and how best to use it, then looking at the use of colour and the directions of light we can use in design.
This week we have designed for the song ‘Love Reign O’er Me’ by The Who. We looked at the emotions shown through the song and how the lighting could support those. Then with a combination of an online visualiser and a lot of fade animations in PowerPoint, we considered the importance of ensuring the moment of transition works as well as the lighting states we had created to ensure the entire design supports the dramatic intentions of a moment.
