Update - July 2025

Friday 4 July – from the head’s end of term letter

The foundations were recently completed slightly ahead of schedule and the contractor will start digging out the crane foundations and the preliminary drainage in front of the site.

The work to upgrade the drainage across the playing fields is scheduled to take place over the summer holidays, along with the installation of a new electrical substation. This substation will require a generator being on the main school site during the summer to ensure everything continues to run smoothly. The work will be tested and hopefully fully operational before the pupils return to school.

Update - June 2025

Friday 27 June

The project continues to progress positively, with the piling work completed ahead of schedule. The next phase of construction will commence shortly. This includes the tower crane base being constructed, foundation works for the boundary wall and the main external drainage around the site perimeter being installed. In addition, there will be the excavation of internal ground beams and pile caps, as a foundation to distribute the weight onto the piles.

Regular time-lapse videos of the construction progress will be shared to keep parents informed.
