WCS Insights: Smart Science, 5pm, Wednesday 21 October

How can science and technology support the environment? What roles are available in today’s healthcare and pharmaceutical industries? Where can a career in science take you?

Young people within the United Westminster and Grey Coat Foundation will be able to get answers to these questions, and more, from our fascinating speakers at next Wednesday’s online careers event.

Speakers include Tom Anderson and Dr Jim Scott from technology start-up Grid Edge, which aims to transform energy consumption, and Pamela Bauer, who works for AT&T as a global account director, having previously managed healthcare/pharmaceutical accounts for Pfizer and Eli Lilly. They will talk about their careers and experience of working in science and technology, as well as answering questions from the online audience of Year 11 pupils and sixth formers.
