Netball season began with a great start this year with over 250 girls from Year 6 up to seniors attending pre-season training. All of the girls were working hard getting ready for the season ahead.

At the time of writing, the current win rate is 67% which is fantastic. Many teams still remain undefeated with special mention to the 3rd and 4th VII winning 9 out of 9 games between them. The first VII unfortunately missed out on a Surrey Finals place but still remain in the Independent Schools National Cup. They face Highgate in the next round and look forward to a closely fought match and will hopefully reach the next round. The U14 and U15A teams have had a brilliant start to the season, both reaching the Surrey Finals and the U15A team still remain in the Independent Schools National Cup.

The U12 and U13A  teams loved playing at the Thomas’s Clapham Tournament. For many of the girls it was their first tournament and they did themselves proud, both coming 2nd overall. The U11 and U12s have been getting stuck into training, all fighting for positions in the teams.

All 26 teams have done Emanuel proud so far this season and I hope that continues next term.
