We are delighted to welcome all staff and pupils back to Emanuel for the Spring term 2022.

Full information and guidance about how we are providing education and co-curricular activities is available to all pupils and parents on Firefly here and is updated as required

Detailed risk assessments have been undertaken and the summary of these has been published on the website here. The school continues to closely follow the guidelines provided by the government , Public Health England and the World Health Organisation, and to review the broader and school-specific picture on an ongoing basis to ensure it is a safe environment for pupils and staff. We will continue to send regular communication to all parents as the situation evolves and should the guidance require any significant changes to our procedures.

We are incredibly grateful to all our staff who have worked hard to implement and  understand new practices and procedures to ensure the school can operate safely, within the DfE guidance and that the day-to-day experience of life at Emanuel remains a positive one.

Visitors and health declaration

Many school events, including our pastoral evenings and parent seminars, are being hosted via online platforms such as Zoom, Teams and the Parents Evening system.

When visitors are invited to the school site, we ask that they familiarise themselves with our latest Visitor Information which outlines current arrangements. This also includes information for parents attending sporting fixtures.

In advance of their visit to the school, visitors are also asked to complete the Visitor Health Declaration which includes confirmation of a negative LFD or PCR test 24 hours prior to the visit. This does not apply to parents attending sporting fixtures, or attendees of school events (who will be sent details of any requirements in advance of the event).

The Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy is available to read on the policies page here.

If you have any specific pastoral or safeguarding concerns we encourage you to contact the school designated safeguarding lead Mr Kothakota (Deputy Head: Pastoral) or any member of the school’s safeguarding team (safeguarding@emanuel.org.uk).

For information about the admissions process, please refer to the Admissions section of our website or contact our admissions team.
