We offer a wide range of different subjects for students to pursue at A level. Each subject is taught for eight periods per week (approximately four and a half hours) by dedicated staff who are experts in their field.

The subjects currently offered at Emanuel for A level are:

Almost all students additionally complete the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) as part of their timetabled curriculum. Students who take Further Maths as a fourth A level do not take on the Extended Project Qualification.

At Emanuel we do not offer the option of AS levels. AS qualifications still exist, but they have been decoupled from A levels, meaning that they are entirely separate qualifications, examining different skills and different material to the two year A levels. An AS qualification does not contribute in any way to an A level grade any more.

Find out more details about each A level subject and the Extended Project Qualification in the brochure below.
