Howe Hits the High Notes!
It was standing room only in the Concert Hall for this year’s House Music Rock and Pop Competition, as the eight houses went head-to-head in a night packed with musical talent, fierce house spirit, and unforgettable performances. After a thrilling final, Howe House emerged victorious, topping the leader board with 129 points and claiming this year’s bragging rights.
The coveted Strover Trophy for House Musician of the Year was awarded to Eva for her stunning vocal performance. Representing Howe with power and poise, Eva’s performance was a highlight in an already exceptional evening of music.
Adjudicating this year’s competition was Charlie Willcocks, a member of our Visiting Music Staff, whose expertise in jazz, piano and music production brought depth and clarity to the judging process. Mr Willcocks praised the finalists for their creativity, courage, and musical versatility.
The finals featured a broad spectrum of talent and styles, from solo vocals to dynamic duos and impressive instrumentalists. Many congratulations to all our finalists:
