It was a wonderful end of term for the Year 9s who headed into the City for a trip to Escape Entertainment, a fantastic escape room venue hidden away behind St Paul’s cathedral.
The groups were locked into a series of rooms with nothing to help them bar their wits. Charged with solving two mysteries, either ‘The Murder of the West End Scarlet of ‘The Bank Heist’, the groups battled to escape before the timer ran out. Some groups fared incredibly well, with a number breaking out before the hour and learning some really useful lessons about teamwork and lateral thinking. Others were left scratching their heads and searching for clues until released back to hear what they had missed. It was a fantastically fun few hours and one enjoyed by staff and pupils alike.
