Congratulations to Mia (Year 10), who won the second prize in the BPSE Beethoven Intercollegiate Junior Competition run by the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe in April.
Mia was chosen to represent the Junior Royal Academy in the competition after an audition and competed against other students from all the specialist music schools and junior departments in the country. Each performer played a whole Beethoven Sonata and a prescribed Bagatelle. She played very well and was pleased to get the second prize!
