Last year pupils in the Lower School supported the STARS programme, (Sustainable Travel Active Responsible and Safe), run by TfL. Volunteers became ambassadors who worked with a trainer from TfL to promote STARS travel within school. The team promoted many activities which include bike it breakfasts, brainstorming at an inter school webinar, mapping exercises and more.  Classes were involved through our life education programme with travel surveys, travel safety pledges, obstacle courses, poster campaigns, lichen analysis and much more.
Emanuel has now received bronze accreditation for this work and is halfway to gaining silver. Congratulations to the STARS team who are shown here supporting active travel week in June!

Eva, now a Year 9, pupil created a poster which was selected the overall winner by TfL and will be used in their campaign to promote road safety. Well done!
