This half-term, year 6 have focused on the theme of ‘safety’ in their assembly sessions.
They have looked at internet safety and why we should avoid sending mass group messages, as well as considering consent and when it should be given with social media.
They also had a talk by Transport for London, who gave advice about how to be safe while travelling around the city. Pupils were advised to stand back at bus stops and tube stations – “the length of your body, plus a whole step back”.
