Over time, we will also undertake work to enhance the school grounds and landscape, creating quiet spaces and preserving our green spaces for exercise and play.
As part of the development, there will be a programme of planting and landscaping. Mature trees will be planted along the driveway, creating an avenue leading up to the school buildings from the Battersea Rise gate. Extensive landscaping and planting will encourage biodiversity as well as create an environment that boosts wellbeing.
This avenue will be pedestrianised up to the entrance to the swimming pool on the left and in front of the main school building to the right. Vehicular traffic, especially deliveries and refuse collection, will be directed to the new building and therefore remove an area of potential risk in front of school.
