The development of the new All Weather Pitch (AWP) at our Off Site Sports Ground is almost complete. The photos in the gallery below were taken earlier in the week and show the final pitch surface. Floodlights and equipment such as goals will go in over the next week. The AWP will be available for use from the start of the new term in September. It will provide sporting opportunities for everyone at Emanuel, a home ground for girls’ hockey and a venue to further our award-winning outreach programme.

The junior cricket square area has been prepared and a synthetic pitch installed in the centre. It will be available for use in time for next season and will be used as a training area outside of the cricket season. The new cricket square will also see the introduction of 3 hybrid pitches which will allow the school to host more fixtures.

Further plans are underway to develop 3 hard courts for tennis and netball by spring 2024 and to upgrade the pavilion.

Thank you to the donors who have supported us so far. Financial support from the Emanuel School community is vital to developing our site and increasing bursary provision, providing further opportunity to our pupils and the wider community.
