This week, the Emanuel Cake has been awarded to a group of students who wrote an amazing video rap following a school trip earlier this year.

Joe Barton, Luke Bligh, Will Brow, Jasper Chin, Esme Glen, Siddiq Islam, Thomas Marwood and George Pilling visited CERN – the European Organisation for Nuclear Research – in Geneva during the February half term. Find out more about the trip from two Upper Sixth leavers here.

They subsequently wrote an amazing video rap that outlined their experience. It was described by CERN as “fantastically creative” and won the team an invite to do an extended experience in the S’Cool labs at CERN next February.

Well done!
