We were delighted to welcome back Old Emanuels (OEs) who left the school 50 years ago for an archive display in the junior library and a tour of the school. We are always struck by the deep and abiding friendships and connections forged at Emanuel. OEs tell us of their memories of the school and friendships that have lasted a lifetime.
Our thanks and congratulations go to members of the new Prefect team, Matilda, Scarlett, Leela, Harry and Hope, who chatted to OEs about their time at school. Our former pupils were particularly interested to hear about their involvement in the Primary Ambitions programme. One OE commented in his thank you note, ‘I especially loved talking to the young people engaged in the teaching programme with local primaries: they are both impressive and delightful, not a combination I recognise in myself at the same age!’
