Mr Morrison and Mr Adams took members of the Junior and Senior Doctor Who Club to the Royal Albert Hall for the ‘Doctor Who’ Prom. This was a once-in-a-lifetime event hosted by Catherine Tate and attended by over 5,000 people featuring actors, monsters and music from the show.

We were ‘the only school group on the planet’ to attend according to one of the ushers, and were filmed on camera multiple times for the televised edit of the show. Tickets to the performance had sold out in seconds, so we were very lucky to be there.

Emanuel student Kit Rakusen appeared in one of the clips from the episode ‘The Devil’s Chord’ in which he played the role of Henry Arbinger.

Mr Adams awarded the performance ‘100/10’ and bumped into one of the rag-dolls from ‘Night Terrors’ who kindly agreed to a selfie.

We also visited the Forbidden Planet Megastore and had a sumptuous dinner in Leicester Square.

Lots of students commented that this was the best day ‘of [their] life’
