Everything is better when we work together – Emanuel volunteers at the Smile Brigade

Seven of our Upper Sixth students, plus some alumni and friends,  are volunteering multiple days per week at the Smile Brigade, a community group providing food for families in need.

Based at the Clem Attlee Community Hall in Fulham, the Smile Brigade operates on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Our volunteers sort through donations, bag fruit and vegetables and put together care packages. Food is donated by local companies and organisations including City Harvest London and The Felix Project who provide surplus food which would have been otherwise wasted or unused.

Our Emanuel School volunteers include Ben Baker, Edward Berkley, Katy Bracegirdle, Emily Coad, India Diment, Maisie Holmes and Maddie Jeynes with more pupils expected to join the volunteer team next week. A great community effort.
