The Emanuel Fives team has been busy building its numbers and strength in readiness for fixtures this term.
With roughly 80 pupils playing each week ( and numbers still building), many will have the chance to represent their school this Term and even play in the prestigious National Schools’ Championships to be held at Eton College, where up to forty schools will be taking part. They will be competing against the likes of Harrow, Eton, Shrewsbury, Westminster and Highgate.
So far this Term, fixtures have been played at home and away against Berkhamsted School, and Mill Hill School, which have provided invaluable experience for our teams at various age-groups.
Training is after school every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Girls and boys from all years and of any sporting ability are most welcome to join us on our three fabulous indoor courts on any of those days.
Fives has been at Emanuel for over 100 years. We have a strong Alumni following for Old Emanuels and the sport is thriving nationally. … do come and join us!
