Last week, we were delighted to host recent leavers Bella and Joe in the Sixth Form Centre. They gave a talk to Economics and Business A Level pupils about their gap year internship at ‘Ingage’– an investor relations company. Michael Hufton, Managing Director and Founder of ‘Ingage’, gave an introduction to the company and the sector before handing over to Bella and Joe to describe the role. They spoke about their day-to-day responsibilities, the opportunities they have had to sit in on high level meetings and the insight they have gained into the running of a business. Bella and Joe recently attended an industry wide conference and will soon be visiting the Poland office. This experience has elevated their CV’s and given them a clearer idea of what they would like to do after university. There were many questions from the audience which reflected the high level of interest in this exciting opportunity.
Best of luck to those who are making an application to be the next gap year interns!
