It was a great day on Sunday at the London Youth Games for Year 7 pupils Anna Ayres and Olivia Holmes.
Anna and Olivia, who both play for the U12 hockey team at school, represented Wandsworth at the London Youth Games at Crystal Palace. Wandsworth beat Waltham Forest in the match for third and fourth place to win bronze overall.
Including the qualifying competition, Wandsworth won five games, drew three and only lost once to Richmond in the semi-final. Many teams were full of U14 girls, so Wandsworth did incredibly well against some physically stronger and older opposition.
