Lower Sixth rower Lauren McAuliffe has had two new recent achievements.

Last week, she received an invitation to the GB Rowing Team Junior Potential Camp in October half term at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. Rowers who have shown they may have the potential to gain selection for one of the GBRT Junior Teams in 2020 or 2021 are being invited to this camp.

She also applied and has been accepted onto the British Rowing DiSE progamme. This is a Diploma in Sport Excellence which is a way that ‘British Rowing supports talented young athletes who have potential to succeed on the performance pathway.’

These achievements follow Lauren’s outstanding success at the Home International Regatta in July, where she brought home two gold medals for England and made Emanuel School history for being the first female rower to represent her country.
