The theme of this year’s anti-bullying week was ‘One Kind Word’. As part of anti-bullying week at Emanuel, pupils in the lower school took part in a random acts of kindness challenge.

Here, pupils were challenged to complete as many acts of kindness as possible in the space of a week. Challenges included: helping to cook dinner, calling a friend to catch up, thanking the catering staff for lunch and many more. Pupils also included their own random acts of kindness and recorded them on their challenge card. The national lockdowns this year and last have highlighted just how important kindness and small acts of consideration are and how they can brighten the lives of people around us.
