On Saturday 7th of May, Emilia (Year 9) took part in the Reigate and Redhill music festival.
Emilia had previously taken part in the festival in various different categories. This year, she entered the grade 7 and 8 category. She played Marguerite au Rouet by Albert Zabel and won the category, receiving a medal and a certificate. Emilia also won a shield award for the whole afternoon and, a few days later, was contacted and asked to perform in a concert at the Harlequin theatre in Redhill to celebrate the end of the two week festival.
