During the Easter break, 67 rowers and 7 members of staff all travelled to Scotland to hone their skills for the summer regatta season.

Completing a large amount of mileage over the week, the rowers made use of the Scottish Rowing High Performance centre. The Year 10s then enjoyed a rowing quiz provided by Mr Jackson and went bowling in Glasgow.

The following week, the senior rowers enjoyed a talk on how to build Confidence, delivered by World Rowing medal of honour winner, coach Iain Somerside.

After a challenging week, the rowers have all built their fitness and confidence in the run up to National Schools regatta and Henley regattas. The outstanding rowers of the camp were Dorothy (Year 10), Pippa (Year 11) and Harper (Upper Sixth), who showed some brilliant team work and improvement on and off the water.

Good luck to all rowers over the summer Term!
