Last Tuesday saw our first Sports Day onsite for nearly twenty years, since then our Years 6 to 10 have nearly doubled in size and the events have evolved to include aquathlon (swim-run), strength and conditioning and agility testing alongside the more traditional athletics events. There were some stellar performances across all events, which saw 6 records being broken, Pablo was in fine form breaking two records (Year 6 high jump and 100m), Platon (Year 6 Shot Put), Thomas (Year 7 300m), Martha (Year 8 Long Jump) and Tilly English (Year 9 high jump). The major honours of the day go to Mr Reed’s Wellington House who won the overall sports day competition.
