We marked a milestone in the school’s history as we officially launched the new STEM and refectory building with an opening event in the Sixth Form centre on Wednesday 23 April.
The new building is the key to unlocking the school site’s full potential: not only will it have great and critical benefits for STEM teaching and learning, but it will allow us to repurpose vacated spaces, creating dedicated subject areas for the arts and humanities and improving our spaces for sport and recreation.
The STEM and refectory building will also widen access to our specialist facilities for over 1,000 pupils who use our site as part of our award-winning local partnership programme.
Meeting our fundraising targets
We hope you will support the building project and help us to reach our fundraising targets. Our ambition to raise £2 million by the time the building opens in 2027 depends on the collective efforts of the whole school community.
Thanks to the generosity of our lead donors, we have already raised £300,000, giving the campaign strong early momentum. Now, we are seeking support from the whole school community to reach our target.
Paving the way forward
Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference and is important to us.
Should you choose to donate £5,000, your generosity will be recognised with a personalised, engraved hexagon tile on the impressive donor wall in the new building.
You can leave a lasting record of your child’s time at the school by including your family’s name or your child’s name on the tile. We would love to invite you to view your tile in the new building when it opens in 2027.
