Huge congratulations to Emanuel’s Year 11 for their excellent summer examination results in 2022.

This talented cohort have done exceptionally well. Their hard work and commitment have resulted in superb outcomes.

This year, 40% of all grades awarded for GCSEs, IGCSES and Further Maths were 9s, more than double the number in 2019 – the last year of proper public examinations. 71% of grades this year were 9/8s (44.1% in 2019) and 89% were 9-7 (72.2% in 2019).

The average grade achieved by an Emanuel student this year was grade 8.

Mrs Peters, the Deputy Head: Academic commented, “We are immensely proud of these pupils. They spent a significant part of their Y9 and 10 in remote learning; it is a great testimony to their academic commitment and the unstinting support of their teachers, their parents and the middle school team that they have emerged from this year’s public examination process with such fantastic success.”

The headmaster has said how, ‘delighted [he] is with every pupil’s effort and achievements,’ noting that, ‘this summer sees another group of Emanuel girls and boys achieve great results, building on the impressive achievements of others in previous year groups. They should all feel really proud of themselves.’
