Emanuel School hosted the Battersea Rise Football Tournament in collaboration with our partners Fulham Football Club Foundation. Nine partner primary schools were in attendance for the ‘7 a side’ tournament with teams made up of boys and girls.
It was a wonderful day with competitive matches played in great spirit. The tournament is designed to be a positive sporting experience and provide an opportunity for partner school pupils to represent their school.
The cup final was won by Shaftesbury Park Primary who overcame Chesterton Primary 2-0 while in the final of the plate Griffin Primary narrowly beat St George’s CofE Primary 1-0.
