A huge thank you again to everyone who contributed to the clothing drive in aid of West London Welcome . With the help of an amazing team of parent volunteers, we delivered thousands of items of clothing for 5- to 16-year-old children. The final delivery was yesterday with some additional clothes going to Care4Calais for locally-based refugees too – again, all managed by our amazing volunteers.

West London Welcome were thrilled by our generosity. Leyla Williams, Deputy Director of West London Welcome stated ‘We are incredibly grateful to Emanuel School’s parents, teachers and students for their amazing efforts collecting and donating huge amounts of clothes for newly-arrived Afghan refugees in West London, and raising over £2,000 for us. We spent this week distributing the clothes to our new neighbours, who were thrilled to be given them for themselves and their children.’
