Thank you to everyone who has been involved in 43 for the BRT. We have reached 56% of our target and raised over £24,000 for transformative free places so far.
You can help us to reach our target of £43,000, which will enable two children to benefit from a transformative free place at Emanuel, by visiting our JustGiving page and supporting our amazing fundraisers in their efforts.
Pupils, teachers, parents and OEs have raised money by running, walking, dancing, drawing portraits, doing press-ups and gym workouts, crafting origami, braving ice swims, reciting sonnets in unusual places, baking cakes and so much more.
Thank you also to the 250 donors who have supported all of these fundraising efforts so far. If you haven’t already done so, please take a look at the activities our fundraisers are involved in and lend them your support. You can see them all on our JustGiving pages.
- Mr Andrews is doing 100 press-ups a day for 43 days. His whole body aches but he’s determined to finish.
- Miss Mott is drawing 43 portraits in 43 days. For a minimum donation of £10, she will draw you a great portrait from a photograph.
- Our top 3 pupil fundraisers so far are José, Hector and Lulu, who have raised over £2,100 between them. Well done! As well as smashing his 43k running goal, José is doing 430 push-ups and 860 v-sits. We might have to pit him against Mr Andrews towards the end of the campaign!
- Catering Manager, Phyllis Street, is walking 10,000 steps per day for 43 days
43 for the BRT aims to raise £43,000 in order to enable two more children to benefit from a transformative free place at Emanuel. We want to celebrate Emanuel’s 430th birthday in 2024 by welcoming 43 children to Emanuel on a completely free place. Please help us to get there.
