This year marks the start of Emanuel offering the AQA Further Mathematics course to our keenest and most talented mathematicians.
33 students are voluntarily committing lunchtimes and some of their own time to work through some difficult maths problems. Some of the topics include the beauties of the Pascal triangle and an introduction to matrices (as seen on the film The Matrix).
Mr Bishop and Mrs Chetwood have been incredibly impressed by the quality and commitment of these students, and hopefully the course may spark the next Stephen Hawking!
