Can you help us support our vulnerable neighbours? Donate below

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, Spires and the Foodbank have been exceptionally busy – more people than ever are in crisis and need our support. We want to raise vital funds to help ensure that our neighbours have food and support at this difficult time.

Foodbank Wandsworth provides three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local individuals and families who are in need. Based at St Mark’s Church on Battersea Rise, they have seen an increase in the numbers of people needing their help. Covid-19’s impact has magnified this need. For more information on Wandsworth Foodbank, see their website: www.wandsworth.foodbank.org.uk

Spires is a local charity based in Streatham that supports hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged people. Their clients have complex needs ranging from homelessness, insecure accommodation, unemployment, problems with mental and physical health, addiction and substance abuse. Already oversubscribed, they have launched an urgent supplies appeal for their vulnerable and homeless service users to provide food parcels. Funds will help them provide staples such as tinned soup, baked beans, packet soups, energy bars, socks, underwear and soap. For more information on Spires, see their website www.spires.org.uk

We would like to do what we can to support these charities. If you can help, please donate below. We will divide donations equally between the two charities and ensure that funds get where they need to go quickly as possible.
