Thank you to everybody who has kindly donated winter clothing to Spires.

Our Lower Sixth team consisting of Hugo, Sam, Kyra, Barney and Felix collected, counted, sorted and delivered 27 winter coats, 21 extra warm jumpers, 14 pairs of trousers and oodles of hats, gloves and scarves for the charity, which works to improve the lives of homeless people in our local community. Combined with a previous donation, this brings us to well over 100 much needed items collected and delivered so far this year.

The team is planning a number of drives in the Spring and Summer terms including sleeping bags, toiletries and summer clothes. In the interim, if you are doing a clear out and come across warm and cosy items that would help make a difference to the lives of the homeless in our local community, please let us know. Spires has seen a huge increase in people needing their help so we can put your things to good use.
