Success at Scullers Head of the River
Over 400 scullers from around the country raced down the 6.7km Oxford vs Cambridge course in late September. Gemma (Year 11) won the scullers head in the J16 Women’s category and posted the fastest Emanuel girls’ time. Well done to the 8 Emanuel scullers who took part in this epic pre-season race.
Fantastic Fours’ Head of the River results
Over 400 crew boats from clubs, schools and universities raced the championship course. 9 Emanuel crews raced. Our boys first Four came 7th with promising performances from the J16 and 2nd boys’ crews. The J16 and 2nd girls’ crews raced brilliantly. The crew of the day went to the Girls Senior Coxed Four, who placed an incredible 4th & were the fastest school in their category.

Going to Great Britain trials
Maddy & Isaac travel to Boston this weekend to compete in the second round of Great Britain trials. We wish them the best of luck against the top 300 rowers in the country.
Cracking Christmas Pudding Races
Saturday 11th December
9.00am-1.00pm
Emanuel’s highlight of the rowing calendar is back in full force, after a two-year postponement. Parents are welcome to the Boathouse for mince pies, mulled wine and the many races that can be watched from our boathouse. Fancy dress is encouraged and there are prizes for best dressed Christmas themed boy & girl in each year group. The fastest crews also win a Christmas Pudding!
