Last week, the Music and Drama departments presented four sell-out performances of Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ to great success, with all four shows receiving a standing ovation.
There were over ninety students involved within multiple aspects of the production; most were in the cast and could be seen singing, dancing and acting their hearts out on stage, but there was also a large number involved behind the scenes with all of the technical aspects (including lights, sound, stage management and costume) being run by students, and there were also four music students playing in the band alongside professional West End musicians.
A huge well done to all involved for making this such a fun, enthusiastic and high quality production – the Music and Drama departments are so proud of all your hard work and what you’ve managed to achieve!
