On Monday 7th December, the Business and Economics Society kicked off their Guest Speaker Series with a talk by the interim bursar, Mr Nick Grenfell Martin.
Mr Grenfell Martin and the society discussed the key responsibilities of a bursar and focused especially on how Covid-19 has impacted his decisions. The students learned about the costs associated with running a school and the distribution of funding. Mr Russell, the new Bursar, spoke about his interesting career path and how that led him to working at Emanuel School. This was the first of many guest speakers the society has invited to discuss their life and career in the world of Business and Economics.
