Our Lower and Middle School once again assembled Christmas hampers for single-parent families in our local area through our long-standing partnership with the charity CHEER, based at St Mark’s Church Battersea.
This year, we collected for a record 72 families! As ever, our Emanuel community generously donated amazing gifts for families ranging in size from one to six children. Presents were wrapped, cards written, food collected and Christmas decorations thoughtfully selected. The Christmas hampers were delivered to CHEER on Monday morning in readiness for distribution to the recipient families in time for Christmas.
As always, thank you for your continued generosity. The hampers, we know, will make a huge difference to the CHEER families this Christmas.
