Last week, 20 Year 9 pupils received a presentation from Jayne Sutcliffe on raising finance for a business and making a successful business pitch. Jayne (who has spoken to the Dragon’s Den Year 9 pupils for several years now) spoke well and there were a number of questions from the pupils after about presenting in front of an audience.
The pupil presentations to the four external ‘Dragons’ take place on the 27th March at 6.00pm and include ideas for a plastic free supermarket, affordable art from recycled materials, a socially responsible social media site and designer footwear brand.
