Last October half term, pupils from Emanuel and Westminster City School worked together to make a short film titled ‘School’s Out’.

The first cut of this film is now online and has been submitted to the Impact50 project for inclusion in apocalyptic feature film ‘The Impact’.  The film stars pupils from various year groups and was directed by Year 9 and Year 11 pupils Eleanor Horley, Natacha Simpson, Hilla Sewell and Rudi Goodman with an excellent soundtrack provided by Ice Dob (Year 8). Parents, pupils and staff can view the video on Firefly by clicking the link below.

The film has been well received so far, so we are hopeful that at least some sections of this film will make the cut in the final feature film alongside other short films from around the world. However, this will be the decision of the film’s producers.

Stay tuned for further updates.
