Critical NHS, a community based non-profit organisation, was founded in March 2020 to supporting front-line NHS staff at St. George’s Hospital, Tooting.

Now sourcing from 30+ local restaurants to provide 900 meals a day, the team of 40 strong volunteers coordinate meal deliveries to the hospital, as well as generous donations of care packages, protective clothing and sweet treats. Their operations are being expanded to deliver 1,500 meals a day to 16 hospitals cross London and Surrey, with their aim to take this into care facilities as well.

Since its inception, Critical NHS has raised in excess of £200,000 but they need your help to keep this incredible team effort going.  Critical NHS is the community’s way of saying thank you to those putting themselves at risk to care for our loved ones during this pandemic.

We are all in this together and as well as your kind donations, children can help too. Maybe they could draw a picture for our NHS staff and donate £5, or run (or walk) 5km and donate £5, or bake 5 cupcakes for a neighbour that may be feeling lonely and donate £5? Or come up with their own idea!

The Critical NHS team will collate all artwork into a large mural to be displayed in the critical ICU, so please remember to take a photo of your finished drawing and email it to jess@criticalnhs.org

Donations can be made via the Critical NHS website – https://www.criticalnhs.org.

Thank you.
