The Intermediate Maths Challenge is aimed at pupils in Year 9 to 11. 

A special mention to the following Year 10 and 11 pupils who received a gold certificate and qualified for the next round: Sam Routledge, Merle In Der Rieden, Orla Kelly, Atitiya Vichayanrat, Gilberto Astolfi, Sophie Lim, Seb Rumble, Freya Mills, Lucy Mountain, Amelie Konig, Ethan Wirasinha, Maddie Russell, Zachary Hampton, Eva Hegan, Yan Joynathsing and Anna Tong.

The following pupils from Year 9 received a Silver award and qualified for the next round: Nick Heinsius, Imogen Monk, Matthew Durrant, Alex Cooke and Annabel Rickards. Lakshmi Panchalingam in Year 9 received the best result in the entire school and qualified for the Olympiad round – a very impressive achievement.

Considering the challenge is aimed at pupils in Years 9 to 11, there were exceptional performances from the select pupils from Year 7 and 8 that participated. Kaia Shaw received a gold certificate which was the best score in Year 8 as well as qualifying for the follow on round. The following pupils received a silver award and qualified for the follow on rounds: Liam Harari McGeary, Harry Mountain, Sophie Palmer, Farhan Ruhan, Henrik Gustafsson-Camp and Cal Kinsler.
