Four of our current upper sixth students, and established 1st XV rugby players, have been nominated for The Lambs RFC – the Independent Schools Rugby Football Club.
The Lambs are a recognised representative side for independent schools across the country, providing an elite pathway for those boys outside of the Premiership Academy pathway. Joe Harrop, Ed King, Gabriel Orsini (1st XV Vice Captain) and George Wilson (1st XV Captain) were all nominated by Emanuel School.
Outside centre Gabriel and back row forward George shone on the first assessment day held at Reed’s School on Sunday 16th December. As a result, both players were selected to represent the south east region and have since started in the regional fixture against the south west region on Sunday 6th January at Maidenhead RFC. Having now represented a Lambs regional XV, both players are eligible for the national XV this season.
