Congratulations go to six students who have secured offers from Oxford and Cambridge this term.
Two students who achieved stellar A level grades in August 2019 – Ibs Laughton and Izzy Thomas – have unconditional places to read Experimental Psychology at St Hugh’s, Oxford and Natural Sciences at Emmanuel, Cambridge respectively.
Of the current upper sixth applicants, Ernest Pretzlik has a place for Modern and Medieval Languages at Pembroke, Cambridge, whilst Luke Bligh has a place for Engineering at St John’s, where he will join his sister Ellie (OE) who is now in her second year reading English. Esme Glen has been offered a place at Brasenose, Oxford for History and Economics, and Head Boy Siddiq Islam has a place at Somerville for Maths.
We wish them all the best of luck in securing the grades needed this summer and would like to thank the staff who supported them with their applications.
