In the next few weeks, many of our upper sixth leavers will be going on to prominent universities around the country to pursue their chosen degrees.

This year, 81% of our applicants secured their first choice UCAS offer and 76% of university places are at Russell Group universities, an association of world-class research-intensive universities.

The most popular university choices this year were Exeter and Nottingham (each with 12 successful applicants from Emanuel), Leeds (11 places) and Edinburgh (7 places). 15 students have chosen to pursue Politics degrees, or degrees combined with Politics, and over a quarter of all degrees chosen by our students are STEM-based (science, technology, engineering and maths).

Five students have secured places at prestigious art colleges CCW, Epsom, Kingston and Manchester Metropolitan, where they will be pursuing art foundations. A small number of students have chosen to study abroad, and some students have achieved highly-prized work placements.

Emanuel remains a rich pupil community and we are thrilled to see so many leavers doing so well and fulfilling their ambitions. We wish our upper sixth leavers all the best in their chosen careers and hope to continue to hear about their achievements in the years to come.
