The U12 netball squad had an incredible journey at the Sisters ‘N Sport Final 4 held in Loughborough. In the semi-final, they faced a strong King’s School, Macclesfield team and emerged victorious with a score of 17-11. In the final, they competed against Hulme School, whose team included several Manchester Thunder pathway players. The girls demonstrated exceptional skill and applied the coaching points effectively, leading to a tied score at full-time. The match proceeded to a golden goal scenario, where Hulme School ultimately secured the winning goal. Despite the narrow loss, the squad achieved an outstanding second place nationally at the U12 Plate level and should be immensely proud of their performance.
The U13s faced a strong Woodhouse Grove side in the semi-final of the SNS finals in Loughborough. The standard of netball played throughout the day was very high. The team played extremely well to bring it back from being 7 down to narrowly lose by one goal. In the 3rd and 4th play off the team faced St Albans High School for Girls. The team come out dominating from the start to take a convincing win. Well, done to the girls they did incredibly well! Shout out to Molly who got player of the game in the 3rd & 4th play off.
