In response to an urgent plea from Westminster City School, one of our fellow Foundation schools, Emanuel is providing 40 repurposed laptops to disadvantaged pupils without access to devices to enable them to continue their learning online.
It has been an impressive team effort. Emanuel’s IT department collected the laptops and wiped them in readiness for repurposing. The laptops were then delivered by a specialist transport company, Maltacourt Global Logistics, to digiLED, a company owned and run by an Emanuel parent. Volunteers from digiLED are in the process of transforming the laptops into Chromebooks for the Westminster City School pupils, and they should be up and running online straight after half-term.
Huge thanks go to Emanuel’s IT department, Maltacourt Global Logistics and digiLED for a fabulous community team effort.
