Back in the autumn, five Year 8 girls taking part in the Tycoon Business Competition came up with the idea of creating a second-hand uniform online shop to allow parents to purchase replacement, discounted kit immediately rather than having to wait for the next second-hand sale.

They drew up a business plan, designed the site and with a little bit of background help from Mr Hale and the EPA, they turned their idea into reality when the Tycoon Competition approved their concept and financed its set up.

And what a success the online shop has been – hundreds of items of kit have been listed, dozens have been sold and the girls met their Tycoon target. In fact the website has been such a success that the EPA have continued to finance it as a service to the parents and the girls have generously agreed to continue to help until the end of this academic year. So if you need to replace lost items of sports kit before the next second-hand sale, do check out the Ecoform website at https://www.ecoform.shop.

The EPA would like to say an enormous THANK YOU to Daniela, Jess, Scarlett, Elisa and Hetty, and congratulate them on their brilliant concept. And a shout out to Mr Hale, who steered the Tycoon ship admirably throughout.

Watch out world, these girls are likely to be the business tycoons of tomorrow.
